Golden Asia Trading Limited, established in 2015, has played a key role in ensuring food security in Afghanistan by importing flour, wheat, and legumes worth millions of dollars from partner countries including Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Russia.
To expand its production capacity, the company founded Golden Osiyo Center LLC in Uzbekistan in 2018. This facility, comprising four production units, produces approximately 650 metric tons of flour and 220 metric tons of bran and by-products daily. While bran and by-products are sold domestically in Uzbekistan, the flour is marketed under well-known brands such as Aq Imran, Rayan, Osman, Golden, Ricard, and Ahmad.
On average, 550 metric tons of this flour is imported into Afghanistan daily and distributed across major provinces including Balkh, Kabul, and Jalalabad. Through these efforts, Golden Asia Trading Limited continues to support quality, reliable supply, and stability in Afghanistan’s food sector.
